Housing Inspection 2007

Gloucester City Homes housing service was awarded 2 stars, with promising prospects for improvement in an inspection by the Audit Commission| in June 2007.

Kieran Colgan, the Audit Commission’s Lead Housing Inspector for the South West, said:

‘Gloucester City Homes has made significant improvements to services in the last year. These are having a positive impact on tenants. The organisation is well led and has good plans for continuing to improve.'

The award gave the go ahead for the release of the first phase of £40 million funding to improve our customers' homes| to meet the Decent Homes standard.
