Investors In People

Gloucester City Homes is proud to have been recognised as an Investor in People Gold accredited organisation.

Investors in People is a national standard which measures whether an organisation's staff are sufficiently well trained and developed to ensure that it delivers its business objectives.

Originally the standard was developed by the Government's Department for Education and Emplyment. As the demand for the standard grew responsibility was transferred to Investors in People UK|, an organisation specifically created to administer the award; protect its integrity; and ensure its successful promotion and development.

The Inspection of Gloucester City Homes

Gloucester City Homes was inspected in September 2006 and again in April 2010.

GCH is one of only 9 organisations in the South West and 128 across the UK to have achieved Gold Status, putting it in the top 1% of all 40,000 IiP organisations.

The IIP assessment team stated:

‘Gloucester City Homes is an exemplar of outstanding performance in particular of employee engagement.…… Recognition at Gold level is an outstanding achievement by everyone who works for the company. To have achieved success against 173 of the possible 196 Evidence Requirements (88%) is truly exceptional, a wonderful team effort.’
