Festive fun for sheltered housing residents

Performance of Oliver by GCH staff
Over 200 GCH sheltered housing scheme residents attended the company’s 4th annual Christmas event at the Walls Social Club.
GCH staff served up a traditional festive feast of roast turkey with all the trimmings followed by Christmas pudding and coffee.
The afternoon entertainment kicked off with a dance performance by children from the White City Venture Playground.
The GCH Supported Housing Team kept everyone entertained with a performance of ‘Oliver’, produced and performed by the GCH Supported Housing Team.
A raffle followed the entertainment with a fantastic array of prizes to be won. The event ended with a special Christmas gift for those who attended.
We would like to thank everyone who supported this year’s event through sponsorship and donating prizes.
GCH’s Head of Housing Lisa Howarth comments:
‘Each year GCH staff work hard to ensure that older residents are able to enjoy an afternoon of festivities including a Pantomime and a Christmas lunch. This year has been a great success with over 200 residents attending ensuring that many older residents have a memorable Christmas.
