GCH Supported Housing Summer Show

GCH Staff

Gloucester City Homes residents have enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of entertainment at a 50s-themed Supported Housing Summer Show at St Barnabas Hall. GCH’s Supported Housing Team organised the annual event and opened the entertainment with a spectacular 50’s dance routine.

Residents enjoyed a light lunch whilst listening to a selection of songs from professional entertainer, Bill Cooper. A performance of Grease by the GCH Community Scheme Managers was thoroughly enjoyed and many of the residents insisted an encore.

Residents were invited to showcase their singing talents with performances including The way we were, Kiss me honey, honey, Streets of London, Welcome to my world, Delilah and Wind beneath my wings.

The event concluded with the ever-popular raffle while tenants and friends joined in with dances and songs. The day’s entertaining and varied programme ensured a thoroughly enjoyable time for all who attended the event.

GCH Head of Housing Services Lisa Howarth says: ‘This event was a great opportunity for both staff and residents to showcase their talents. Everyone was hugely enthusiastic about the show and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon’s entertainment.’
