This year's winner of our Good Neighbour Award is Maggie Day of Westgate. Maggie was nominated by neighbour Sally Ingram, who said ‘Maggie is always willing to lend a helping hand and ear to anybody. Maggie is a lovely lady who helps the whole of the Westgate complex, going to the pharmacy to collect prescriptions, even bully you to go to the GP if you are unwell. She is a mine of information whilst maintaining confidentiality and is a thoroughly good person.’ The list of good deeds and helping hands is extensive and the judging panel felt Maggie to be a very worthwhile winner of this award

When it came to deciding the runner – up, it was impossible for the judging panel to choose and so it was decided that they would award joint Runner – Up prizes to worthy tenants Marion Collins of Nightingale House and Alice Laban of Charter Court. 

The awards were presented to the winners at the November Customer Forum
