Expenses for residents
Here are details of the expenses we can pay to help you to participate in meetings, conferences, training etc.

Travel
|
|
Petrol paid at a rate of 40p per mile upon completion of a claim form
|
|
|
|
Bus or train fares and car parking costs reimbursed upon production of tickets or receipts.

|
For the elderly or disabled a taxi can be provided if required – cost met by Gloucester City Homes
|
|
|
|
For attendance at meetings away from Gloucester City individual travel arrangements can be agreed with the Resident Involvement Training Officer. Rail warrants can be provided or petrol costs can be paid.

|
Childcare / Dependent care
|
|
Childcare or dependant care costs can be paid upon production of a valid receipt at the current rate of £5.35 per hour.
|
|
|
|
At larger functions GCH tries to cater for children by providing entertainment facilities.
|
|
Out of pocket expenses
|
|
Out of pocket expenses will be paid, if residents have taken time off from paid work. The Director of Services will decide if wages will be reimbursed and such costs should be applied for prior to attendance at the event
|
|
|
|
Subsistence allowances and overnight stay costs will be paid when appropriate
|
|
Course fees
|
|
Training course and conference fees will be paid by GCH
|

Access to computer
|
|
Resident groups are provided with appropriate access to computer equipment relevant to group needs
|
|
|
|
|
|
Group support
|
|
All groups that meet regularly are supported by the Housing Officer and a designated Resident Involvement Officer.
