National Tenants Voice
The Government's aim is for tenants to have a greater influence over the services they receive. The National Tenant Voice| was set up in April 2010 to help achieve this.
The National Tenant Voice enables tenants to influence national policy by engaging with the Government and other bodies including the new social housing regulator - the Tenant Services Authority|. It is accountable to tenants, and aims to be inspirational and dynamic, reflecting the views of tenants sought through consultation and research. It celebrates the diversity of tenants and communities.
At the heart of National Tenant Voice will be a National Tenant Council are 50 tenants who meet to debate and discuss key housing policy issues. There are also 9 tenants on the Board.
