Podsmead Tenants & Residents Association
Podsmead Tenants and Resident Association is one of the oldest and longest standing groups in the city. The group's main aim is to work for the rights of tenants and residents within the Association’s ward boundaries and to represent them in matters relating to housing, the environment, other issues of concern and to enhance the quality of life for all tenants and residents.
The Podsmead Tenants and Residents Association is funded by Gloucester City Homes . This funding is based on the number of council tenants which fall within the boundary ward and under the representation of the tenants association.
We work in partnership with Gloucester City Homes, Gloucestershire Housing Association, Oaklands Park Residents Association, our local police and all other local organisations from across the ward.
How we work with Gloucester City Homes
The Podsmead TRA works with Gloucester City Homes in many different ways.
We are a formally constituted body with an Annual General Meeting held in May of each year. We have senior officers in place i.e. providing a Secretary, Chairman, and Treasurer, making us totally self sufficient.

When do meetings take place?
Podsmead Tenants and Residents Association meet every month on the first Wednesday at 5.30pm. Meetings are held at the group’s office which is located in the grounds of the Badger Vale sheltered housing complex, Podsmead.
