The Lampreys Residents Association

Lampreys Residents Association

The Lampreys Residents Association promotes the interests of all residents in the area, and assists in maintaining good relations between all members of the community and enhance the local community so it is a safe, green and clean place for the residents living in our defined area of The Lampreys.

Formed in early 2008, this residents association is working hard to serve all those living on The Lampreys estate and part of Painswick Road. We aim to work together to improve our area in ways that will benefit the community as a whole, making The Lampreys a better place for all residents to live.

The Lampreys monthly meetings are often attended by representatives from Gloucester City Homes, local councillors, and members of the Safer Communities Police Team. We always welcome all residents and encourage everyone to get involved in making decisions that will have a positive impact on the area.

How does The Lampreys Resident Association help residents in the area?

We are keen to continue making improvements to the appearance of The Lampreys so that residents will benefit from more attractive surroundings. we are also working with the local police team to keep anti-social behaviour to a minimum.

The Lampreys Residents Association is campaigning on behalf of residents to ensure that the Sud Brook running through the estate is kept clear and regularly maintained to reduce the possibility of future flooding.

We have also setup a Neighbourhood Watch group for the estate, to continue with safety and security improvements already made in the area.
