Gloucester City Homes is committed to tackling all forms of domestic abuse, any incidents reported to us will be dealt with in accordance with the Anti-Social Behaviour, Hate Crime and Incident Policy.

What is Domestic Abuse?

 

We define domestic abuse as:

 

‘any incident of threatening behaviour, violence or abuse (psychological, physical, sexual, financial or emotional) between adults who are or have been intimate partners or family members, regardless of gender or sexuality’

 

When an incident of domestic abuse is reported to us we will: 

  • Work with our partner agencies to provide additional support.

If you are feeling vulnerable in your own home following a domestic abuse incident we will  discuss your options, giving you information on what we can put in place to support you or  where appropriate make a referral to the Sanctuary Scheme.

Give you advice and information on reporting domestic incidents to CARP (Central Allocation  and Referral Point)
