What is anti-social behaviour?

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) is behaviour that causes or is likely to cause alarm and distress to one or more people who do not live in the same household as the person who is causing the anti-social behaviour. Gloucester City Homes believes that everyone has the right to live peacefully in their own homes.

If you are experiencing anti-social behaviour caused by your neighbour, the first thing you should do is speak to them about the problem. They may not be aware that their behaviour is causing you a nuisance and you may be able to resolve this in a friendly way.

Allow some time to see if the situation improves, however if it does not or you do not feel comfortable talking to you neighbour please contact us for help.

How we classify anti-social behaviour

GCH classifies anti-social behaviour into two categories serious and minor. The specialist Anti-Social Behaviour Team deal with complaints of serious anti-social behaviour, minor cases of anti-social behaviour are referred to our Neighbourhood Services Team.
