Age

The Employment Equality (Age) Regulations which came into force in October 2006, sends a clear message to employers and society that age discrimination is no longer acceptable, but on its own it is not enough to tackle age discrimination.

Gloucester City Homes has  signed up to ‘The Employers Forum on Age’ which is the first ever employer-led initiative to promote the benefits of a mixed-age workforce and to pledge to make age discrimination in the workplace a thing of the past. It was founded in 1996 by 18 of the UK's top employers.
